Hi, I’m Allison, the planner and creative behind Allison Chen Events. I’ve always loved the way a celebration can bring people together, mark a meaningful season, and turn thoughtful details into moments guests remember.
With a background in marketing, project management, and design, I bring both creativity and structure to the planning process. I care about the full picture, from the color palette and personal touches to vendor communication and event-day styling, so every piece feels connected, intentional, and beautifully you.
My goal is to make the process feel calm, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable, so you can feel confident in the details and fully present for the celebration itself.

What types of events do you take on?
Kids’ birthdays, baby/bridal showers, and social events where thoughtful design and styling are the priority.
What is your minimum investment?
My minimum investment is $1,200 to ensure the level of creative direction, coordination, and on-site styling my clients expect.
Do you offer set packages or pricing?
I offer Signature Styling Experiences as starting points, but every proposal is custom based on your venue, scope, and styling depth.
How far in advance should I inquire?
I recommend reaching out at least 6 weeks in advance. Events within 6 weeks may be accepted as rush projects based on availability and may require a rush fee.
How does booking work?
Your date is reserved with a signed agreement + 50% retainer. The remaining balance is due before the event date (outlined in your proposal).
Do you provide balloons, florals, and rentals?
I coordinate trusted partners for balloons, select rentals, and floral elements as needed to bring your design to life.
Do you travel?
I am based out of Pasadena, Ca and serve Los Angeles and Orange counties. I travel outside of these areas by request. Travel fees may apply.
